Trade Magic cards with players nearby.
List the cards you want to sell and the cards you want to buy. We'll match you with players in your area and open a chat so you can close the trade — face-to-face, no shipping.
Everything you need to trade locally
TradingOutPost takes the friction out of card trading so you can spend more time playing.

Smart binders
Build a Want-to-Sell binder for cards you'd part with and a Want-to-Buy binder for cards you're hunting. Both stay private until we find a match.

Local matching
We surface the players nearest you who have what you want — and want what you have. No more shipping, no more PayPal disputes.

Fast offers
Send a one-tap offer from any matched binder. The other player accepts, declines, or counters — no marketplace listing dance.

Higher turnover
Every card you list is exposed to every nearby trader at once, so the cards you're tired of move faster than they would on a forum.

Real community
Trade face-to-face at your local game store, FNM, or a coffee shop. Build trust with neighbours who play the same formats you do.

Free to use
TradingOutPost is free for players. No listing fees, no commission, no premium tier. We exist so you can play more Magic.
How it works
From sign-up to your first trade in five simple steps.
Create your free account
Sign up with email or Google in under a minute. Set the city you trade from and how far you're willing to travel.
Build your binders
Add cards to your Want-to-Sell binder and Want-to-Buy binder. Search by name, set, condition, language, and foiling.
Get matched automatically
We continuously check every nearby player against your binders and surface the trades that close the loop on both sides.
Chat and agree on a trade
Open a chat with a matched player, pick the cards going each way, and lock in a meet-up at your local game store.
Trade face-to-face
Meet up, swap cards, rate each other. Your reputation builds with every successful trade.
About TradingOutPost
TradingOutPost is built by Magic players, for Magic players. We started in 2017 because we were tired of shipping single cards across the country and paying more in postage than the cards were worth. Local trading was the obvious fix — it just needed a tool that made matches automatic.
We don't take a cut. We don't run ads. We just match you with the players around you, then get out of the way so you can play more Magic.
